Project History

Historical Context

Woman with Birds explores the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. The female figure becomes a refuge and meeting point for the birds, representing harmony and mutual protection.

The Artistic Challenge

The main challenge was capturing the dynamic movement of the birds in contrast with the serenity of the human figure, creating a balanced composition that conveys peace and connection.

Casting Process

Detailed modeling (S1) was essential for the feathers and textures of the birds. Lost-wax casting (S3) preserved every subtle detail of this complex multi-figure composition.

Legacy and Impact

The carefully applied patina (S4) differentiates the textures between human skin and plumage. This work celebrates the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
