Bronze casting process at R.U.N. Art Foundry
Bronze pouring at R.U.N. Art Foundry workshop

R.U.N. Art Foundry offers a bronze casting process designed for artists, galleries, and collectors seeking precision, consistency, and museum-quality finishes. Our team follows a technical chain that guarantees fidelity to the original model and a highly durable final result.

Step 1: Mold Preparation

From the start, we analyze the model to detect sensitive areas and ensure the mold preserves every micro-detail. This step is fundamental for works requiring absolute fidelity.

Step 2: Wax Work

Here we define the textures, shapes, and necessary corrections to achieve a faithful replica before coating. Our lost-wax casting service guarantees exceptional results.

Step 3: Ceramic Shell Coating

We apply multiple layers of ceramic shell to capture anatomical detail and ensure a clean pour.

Step 4: Bronze Pouring

The pour is executed at controlled temperature to ensure proper material density and avoid porosity.

Step 5: Finishing and Patinas

Pieces are integrated, joints are corrected, and the patinas desired by the artist are applied. Learn more about our custom solutions.
